Pros

Honestly, I did not experience any major positives during my time here. The only minor positive is that a few teams have supportive colleagues, but that alone cannot compensate for the deeper issues in the company.

Cons

Severe lack of projects: The company hires employees even when there are no projects available. Most people are kept on the bench for months without clarity. Mass layoffs: Amdocs Pune has been going through regular layoffs, and there is zero job security. Even employees who were moved to new roles were suddenly laid off without warning. Poor senior management decisions: Decisions at the leadership level are unclear, inconsistent, and often insensitive. Projects are shut down without planning, and employees are left with no direction. No career growth: Even after being shifted to a Business Analyst role, there was no structured support, no proper training, and no real opportunities. Benefits reduced: Employee benefits have been cut down over time, and there is no transparency. Overall negative experience: The atmosphere is stressful, uncertain, and not suitable for long-term career planning.

Pros

Used to be a great place ro work, Not any more.

Cons

Completely Israel & Israeli focused. Current layong off 30 percent employees globally. But Israel is limited to 10 percent owing to Israeli shareholders. Only global organization in which the entire HR management is in Israel. So Amdocs is not really “global”. The management doesnt know how to become truly global. Most acquisitions are no longer contributing to the revenue. If you are in high cost country except Israel, dont expect growth.
