Pros

Competitive salaries, work-from-home flexibility for some roles/locations, great people, excellent benefits. Overall, a good company to work for.

Cons

Little to no training upon hire (drinking from a fire hose and learn on the fly). Employees in the US sometimes feel like the ugly step children because major decision makers are located in Israel, and the way they want things to operate does not always translate well in the US. Input frequently sought, but rarely implemented, so sometimes feels like a token gesture. Many operations positions are being relocated to India and Latin America under the guise of consolidating shared services, or focus on emerging regions, but in reality it feels a lot like just saving $$, so great, long-term employees in operations roles have been let go, losing more of the personal touch needed in HR and Recruiting. HR/TA Budgets do not allow remote teams to get together enough to build relationships, engagement, and morale. Workload and expectations increasing with less and less support and people to do it.

Pros

Used to be a great place ro work, Not any more.

Cons

Completely Israel & Israeli focused. Current layong off 30 percent employees globally. But Israel is limited to 10 percent owing to Israeli shareholders. Only global organization in which the entire HR management is in Israel. So Amdocs is not really “global”. The management doesnt know how to become truly global. Most acquisitions are no longer contributing to the revenue. If you are in high cost country except Israel, dont expect growth.
