Pros

-Amdocs work culture is good in terms of annual events, Friday kabala meet, festival celebrations etc. - Respect and professionalism towards other team members are deeply ingrained. - Lot of amazing CSR initiatives. - Provide proper learning platform for lot of online learning courses like LinkedIn learning, Safari, O'Reilly etc. - It has a tieup with Symbiosis college which helps people interested in higher education, get enrolled in a distance learning program MBA program. - Organizes lot of talks, competitions (hackathon), therapy sessions, motivator speaker sessions, entertainment sessions for PAN india employees. - Lot of IJP opportunities exist. (This point has an associated con as well, see con section for that). - Good work life balance. - Subsidized food and cab services.

Cons

- Indian management is not that employee friendly in terms of career growth. - Team politics and hierarchy structure of experience comes a lot in one's way of getting some good work. - Only handful of managers and team leads are actually 'Leaders'. Rest all are just Bosses. - Lot of policies and managers come in the way during an internal switch (IJP). - During salary discussion, there's always budget constraint but if one brings another offer with proper hiked salary, they can match it then, without having any constraints, which is selfish and disrespectful. - Sudden organization shifts and one is not consulted or asked before being moved in and out of teams. - Internal bifurcation of teams dividing the team into two, causing unequal distribution of load and work. - HR doesn't function independently, basically manager is the god here.
