The only positive thing I can comment on is that they pay me every 2 weeks and the benefits start day one. I will be as fair and balanced as possilbe. As stated above i will be as fair and balanced as possible. Online, no referral. The recruiter was awesome. · What do you find most rewarding about your position with Amedisys? That they will be out of business in 12 to 16 months in the state of Florida. There are good people here in the area but they were lied to also and don't know any better. · How do you feel about the Amedisys Family Culture? Hostile, Coundn't be worse. The Kindred crew that is now running the training and the Business development are as cut throat to their own people as can be in the world. Only care for the bottom line(Stock holders), zero patient care. The training which was from Kindred BTW and geared towards hospital liaison training has nothing to do with Home health period. So, please keep training your reps this way and when I move on to another agency we will eat your lunch all day. · In your opinion, what sets Amedisys apart from our competitors? Let's see.. hmmm.. Unable to function in the state with the largest amount of Medicare patients in the nation. Training the reps like LTAC hospital Liaison's " I am a Robot". Letting the former Kindred crew run bus dev, which destroyed Kindred BTW due to the same unwavering strategies, even as the world changes around them. Not one of them has even worked in the Home Health field and they are trying to tell you what to do and how to do it. · What would you tell potential employees about Amedisys? Run away, run far away. There is no hope as long as the Old Kindred crew is incharge. The CEO is currently under their spell as they sound like they know the business and speak in a matter of fact way, but trueth be told it is all a lie. If you come in as a account rep be prepared to go to Nashville for 3 days and be sure to pass the test with a 90% or better or you will be walked out the door and sent home jobless. When I was there the poor teacher was in tears one day because she didn't get to 2 pages before the break at noon and they threatened to walk her out the door lol. Shame!!! what a bad culture. Medical is a small world and news like this spreads fast, just be nice please.
