Pros
Based on my experience it's easy to communicate with your higher ups. If you're unhappy with your current task they're more than willing to relocate you, so that you can have a higher workplace satisfaction. Work life balance is really good.
Cons
Based on my co-workers experience the benefits aren't great (or weren't great, they're getting better). If you express no visible interest in sticking with the company they will not make any extra effort to keep you, although the same could be said for any company. Pay isn't always competitive.
