-ACC is a great resume builder, and you gain a lot of valuable office experience similar to what an internship would accomplish. -Fun work atmosphere where every day in the office is different -Rent discount of 25% is helpful
Cons
Being a CA is a full-time commitment. The job is stressful and you work in some way almost every day of the week. If you're not scheduled for office work, you could still have to come to the office for any given event happening or you are on-call that night and can't leave the property. CA's receive a lot of abuse from parents and residents, as you are on the front lines for any discrepancy. Watching your coworkers get verbally abused every day will start to strain on you. Management in general is very good and most property workers form close bonds. I don't advise this job for anyone who can't handle conflict or doesn't have thick skin. This job has many benefits, but after two years of employment the negatives overpower them.
