the only pro is that you are off on weekends

Cons

low pay, no raises, no time off, have sick days you can't take, no vacation days, management will work you to death if you let them, company does not care about their employees at all.

They will train you, if you have good work ethic. There are plenty of opportunities for those that do their jobs and show they care about what they are doing.

Cons

There are cliques within the labs. Some techs will gossip, even if you don't know them.
