This organization has a great mission, a good philosophy about people, and a complete inability to change the way we have always done things. There is a fantastic desire to help people, to provide service to those who desperately need it, and to make a difference in peoples lives. We are an organization that truly does save lives on a daily basis. It is also an organization that provides a good benefit package, although suffering in the current economy. The time off is good and the health insurance is respectable. The environment is easy to work in with most people, including management, being fair and respectful.
Cons
There is such a fear of change, in fact, a fear of everything. The level of paranoia from the FDA making findings, to the fear of benefits being cut is truly amazing. People want to get into a position and stay there for the rest of their life with no possibility of risk of change.
