      Good way to get phlebotomy experience and become very close with coworkers and donors.

      Cons

      Long hours, travelling, subject to weather, load and unload equipment, sometimes in questionable environments and not easy in or easy out loading.

      My experience working with the Red Cross has been great. The work is fulfilling and the people are passionate. Benefits are good - Kaiser is $6 a month!

      There is work life balance, but there is an expectation to work nights and weekends.
