Pros

It was a great place to work until the company hired an unqualified, insecure executive director. She will run TCOM to the ground! Sad!

Cons

Working here has been extremely challenging due to a lack of autonomy, constant changes without clear direction or collaboration, and poor communication across departments. Leadership and decision-making are inconsistent, with frequent shifts in priorities and policies. The facility is understaffed, leaving employees overworked, stressed, and with no work-life balance. Management relies heavily on micromanagement rather than trusting staff to do their jobs effectively. Memory Care services were changed multiple times within just a few months, creating confusion and instability for both residents and staff. There’s a lack of clear leadership—too many people giving conflicting instructions, and no one truly aligned. The result is daily chaos, low morale, and a toxic work environment.

Pros

The coworkers are amazing and make the work environment enjoyable. The residents are wonderful to work with and are one of the best parts of the job. Management does a great job planning fun parties and activities, and there is usually a lot of staff involvement, which helps create a positive and engaging atmosphere.

Cons

Management can be somewhat inconsistent. Employees are often recognized for their work, but there are times when micromanagement creates unnecessary stress. Pay is below what many similar positions offer, and communication between management and staff could be improved. Greater consistency and clearer communication would help employee morale and retention.
