Pros

I am having trouble coming up with one.

Cons

BEWARE, this company IS NO LONGER LPN FRIENDLY. They are pulling long-term staff (LPN's) from positions they have earned, and held for long periods of time, and replacing them with RN's. Unit Mangers, SDC's, ADNS's, all are being replaced. LPN's are being demoted across the board. All of this in the name of ratings, and kick-backs from the government, bonuses for senior management once it is accomplished. Jobs are being threatened across the board!

Pros

Great support, thorough training, supportive team

Cons

There are a lot of responsibilities for each department, and turn over hurts on all levels

Pros

The coworkers are amazing and make the work environment enjoyable. The residents are wonderful to work with and are one of the best parts of the job. Management does a great job planning fun parties and activities, and there is usually a lot of staff involvement, which helps create a positive and engaging atmosphere.

Cons

Management can be somewhat inconsistent. Employees are often recognized for their work, but there are times when micromanagement creates unnecessary stress. Pay is below what many similar positions offer, and communication between management and staff could be improved. Greater consistency and clearer communication would help employee morale and retention.
