Pros
Work life balance can be good depending on manager, pay is adequate.
Cons
Horrific upper management trying to cater to the demands of the Japanese leadership team while consistently failing to meet sales targets. Ancient IT systems with no real plans to update, CEO tries to jam his old school, outdated ideas and work culture down everyone's throats, and folks placate him to his face while doing their own thing behind his back. Lots of two faced managers willing to sell out their own teams to save their own skin. Large round of layoffs recently, HR told everyone "if you're still here in three weeks, you're safe" which amounted to zero productivity and a complete moral destruction while folks saw active high performers whisked away one by one. CEO could not be less inspiring or more rude to everyone he deems to be below him, all the while making terrible choices left and right.
