Pros

Very attractive PTO and working from home. For some people that’s the only reason they stay. Others are leaving because that still doesn’t outweigh the cons. COVID was the best thing to ever happen to this company. The new WFH policy slowed a massive brain drain that was bleeding the company dry. However, that’s picking up speed again. CEO is very good at talking. “Leaders” get a bonus even when the peons don’t get raises! Challenging environment

Cons

Environment is mostly challenging due to the obstacles leadership will throw in your path. Some groups are favored by management and get everything they need. Others are just blamed for failures while they’re overworked and fed up. If you’re considering joining this company, ask whether you’re entering a new position or replacing someone who left. If it’s a new position, it’s probably because your group is one of the anointed. If not, then rest assured there’s a good reason why the last person left. New CEO came in last year. His only big idea has been a reorganization. The last four accomplished nothing, but this one’s really going to be different, promise. The company has made a big deal out of abolishing all titles and replacing them with “Leader”, but this demonstrably false. All managers and above are now Leaders, while lower-level employees have retained their titles. This has accomplished nothing but producing a stratified, us-vs-them atmosphere where Leaders are free to throw lower-level employees under the bus for any failures. For all the talk of leadership, there’s precious little to be found. Lots of “Leaders” lead nothing but spreadsheets, and others can’t be bothered to engage with their employees. As stated, Leaders got bonuses and raises. Lower-level employees haven’t received a raise in three years. Last time we did, we were told to be happy with 2%. Many were much happier to leave for a company that values them. Morale is in the tank and has been for some time. Quarterly employee surveys were quietly scrapped because leadership didn’t want to address the results. There’s been a rush for the exits for months now. Most capable employees have left and almost everyone else plans to. Promotions and significant raises are nearly impossible to come by. For anyone who’s not a “Leader”, this company is a dead end. CEO’s insistence on “assuming good intent” produces nothing but suspicion when employees haven’t seen any actual “good intent” in forever.

Cons

1.5 to 2 hour drive time to homes 100k. A lot of no shows. I've been in Home Improvement for 15 years this is the worst Company by far I realized I can always expect to drive an hour and a half sometimes but not every single appointment plus I only got maybe three appointments a week did not stay there long not even a month talked to someone else that had the exact same experience think they stayed 6 weeks told me Leeds would be available I am a top salesperson in previous Home Improvement was not even going to post because figured maybe it was my area why this was happening I'm in Jacksonville. Dreaded I would run there are plenty plenty plenty of great home improvement companies out there this is not
