Pros

It is Monday through Friday. Our patients are amazing. We get to work with some wonderful doctors.

Cons

The pay scale is terrible. The "benefits" are expensive and cover nothing. They contribute little to nothing to 401k. There are substantial disparities in salaries between male and female employees in the same role. The continuing education reimbursement is low and hasn't increased in the last 20 years. There are no cost of living increases, and rarely merit increases. The company is EXTREMELY top heavy. There are more executives than people actually taking care of patients and supporting the physicians. You're constantly being assigned additional work without additional compensation and you should be flattered that management thinks highly enough of you to ask. The turnover in the clinics is incredibly high and it is in a perpetual state of new people training newer people. Unfortunately, the company is fueled by corporate greed, and hasn't been patient driven in many years.

Pros

Almost exclusively entry level positions Education fund to help obtain COA My particular position did not require much overtime

Cons

Poor training, low pay / benefits, no sense of team or cohesiveness, constant turnover with staff and management. Very little communication, follow through on promises. Frequently faced with unhappy patients with billing, scheduling issues, poor treatment / surgery outcomes.
