Pros

Advancement opportunities are there for those whom are willing to put in the extra effort to attain their goals. This is a recession-proof industry, we store and ship food product....people have to eat.

Cons

Longevity within the company has too much pull. More focus should be placed on education and what a person brings to the table, rather than how long they have worked for the company.

Pros

1. Excellent PTO. 2. Great manager and DO at my location. 3. Decent work-life balance.

Cons

1. Large pay discrepancies between facilities (to the tune of $40k) between associates doing the same job. 2. Frequent implementation of policies or technologies that are either non-beneficial, time wasting, or fixing things that were not broken. I would admit there may be legitimate reasons for a lot of these, but if so they are either being poorly explained or not at all. 3. Failure to recognize the importance of individuals at the site-level and the impact they have in the facility.
