      Pros

      All the people at Amgen are very smart, and it is a great opportunity to grow and learn. There are plenty of internal opportunities for people who are willing and able to show a broad range of talents and apply skills against a range of dynamic problems.

      Cons

      While the company was once a vibrant start-up, it is becoming obsessed with stock price, and bureaucracy and corporate groupthink are increasingly taking over.

      Pros

      Great pay and benefits, generous time off policy. Most people are easy to work with and friendly. Made great lifelong friends during my time there

      Cons

      Not all in leadership positions should be leaders or can make the right decisions. Some "favorites" get pushed up the ladder way to soon, regardless if ready for the position or not/
