Now we're forced back into the office. Back to commuting, eating up more time each day sitting in traffic, spending more on gas and lunches. I can't tell why we were forced back in, since productivity and morale was higher when we could work from home.
Interaction Desktop is gone too, replaced with Genesys Cloud. All the helpful information we used to get is gone now - it's just a blind phone call, no telling what's waiting on the other line. I'm sure it was cheaper, and probably gives managers more reports so they can micromanage the people that haven't quit in frustration.
For a brief period of time Amica was a halfway modern company that trusted its employees to be adults and do the job they were paid for, and now we're back to being micromanaged and harassed daily to justify some middle manager's salary. No wonder there's such a brain drain. We're losing more each week, and no one wants to hire on to this kind of abuse.
