Pros
Great benefits Friendly people Gatherings that don't create that weird "family" vibe that other companies try for Starting wages for your position will be decent (typically) but won't keep up with the market
Cons
The average employee lasts 3 years, there are some lifers but you can bet that they're making far less than they should be getting paid for their experience. If they're making decent money it's because they're in with HR. HR sets all salaries and raises, bosses cannot advocate for their employees if HR doesn't like the boss or employee In three years of employment you'll be lucky to keep above inflation with the paltry raises they give. Nevermind that employee who somehow got promoted twice in 2 months, you've been there multiple years trying to get something but it just won't happen. Enjoy your scraps. Jump jobs for something else that will pay what you're worth
