I heard from my successors that the higher-ups also change the staffs’ performance ratings after the staffs sign their performance feedback forms. The higher-ups simply choose whomever they want to promote and give out low ratings to the ones they don’t like. Such a toxic environment. They will set you up to fail if you don’t suck to them. Your knowledge and experience won’t matter much. Also, HR doesn’t do anything. HR personnel simply circulate e-mails, take no further actions, and are away whenever you need them the most.
