The work itself is meaningful, and there are many dedicated people at the branch and field level who truly care about patients and families. Hospice is an important service, and being part of that mission can be rewarding. Some local teams are supportive and hardworking despite the pressure coming from above.

Cons

Corporate leadership creates an extremely high-pressure environment that can feel unhealthy and fear-based. The focus on numbers and growth often outweighs concern for employees’ well-being. Communication from upper leadership can feel harsh, top-down, and unsupportive. Expectations may feel unrealistic, and the stress can negatively affect both morale and work-life balance.

Advancement Opportunities. I started with the company as a PRN Hospice Nurse LVN, Promoted to Team Coordinator, then to Site Director. Promote from within culture. Great PTO Competitive Pay Great Nurse/Patient Ratio Work Schedule

Angels Care Hospice truly lives up to its name. Their team is compassionate, attentive, and treats patients and families with dignity and respect during an incredibly difficult time. Communication is clear and consistent, and they are quick to respond to concerns or changes in condition. The nurses and aides are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring—not rushed or dismissive. They do an excellent job managing comfort, symptoms, and emotional support, while also making sure families feel informed and supported. Angels Care Hospice brings professionalism, empathy, and peace of mind when it matters most.

Need to include lvns for fleet vehicles
