Pros

There are literally no pros to working here unless you need a quick check.

Cons

-Unethical tactics -Creepy managers -10. hour work days for chump change - Managers lie to you about performance expectations -High turnover rate. nobody in my cohort stayed past 90 days - Lie about jobs available to the service pros -Recycled leads that don't want to talk to you at all -They unblock numbers from people who want to be blocked from being called and will have you call them -Favoritism runs rampant A company full of the shadiest business practices I've ever seen in my sales career. I have had fun in every sales job post-Homeadvisor which is proof that it isn't sales isn't for everyone, this is just a terrible company to work for. Save yourself a headache and preserve your own mental health and don't work here. They lie about everything from the interview process up until you decide to quit or choose to get termed.

Thank you for your time in leaving a review so we can continue to learn and grow. We have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior between team members and encourage anyone who experiences or hears of such activity to report it one of our multiple internal forums (including anonymous ones) so we can take immediate action. Our sales teams are integral to the organization's success and representatives help us grow our service professional network so we can match a homeowner with a pro for most of their home needs. Because of this, the team invests heavily in providing high quality leads distributed evenly across each sales vertical and opportunities for continued training to increase representative success on future calls. We are sorry your experience with us did not match up with your expectations for this role and wish you the best in your next endeavor. - Laura Kato, SVP HR

Pros

The environment is amazing! All trainers, management, and honestly anyone in the company I have spoke with have all been truly wonderful to work with. The training process is very thorough and SO much help is out there from multiple people if you're needing help with anything. They keep you motivated and working but having fun while doing so. It's a very inclusive environment and they put a big focus on employee care. I've worked for some companies in the past that were miserable.. for the first time in years, i'm honestly loving my job!

Cons

It can be very mentally demanding. Time management skills, patience, and dedication to stepping out of your comfort zone is needed.

Pros

The culture is generally positive, and leadership is accessible. Management is willing to meet with employees and listen to concerns. There are talented people throughout the organization, and the work can be rewarding if you enjoy sales and helping businesses grow.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the compensation structure. The company promotes uncapped commissions, but many employees feel earnings are effectively controlled through continually increasing quotas and changing performance targets. Revenue and nominal goals are adjusted so frequently that it can feel like the finish line is always moving. What's particularly frustrating is that the majority of the sales team often struggles to reach 100% of quota, yet goals continue to rise. This creates the perception that compensation expense is being managed through quota increases rather than by allowing top performers to fully benefit from the revenue they generate. Over time, this can discourage high achievers. Employees who consistently perform well are often expected to deliver significantly more results each year just to maintain the same level of compensation. When exceptional performance is met with ever-increasing targets instead of proportionally increasing rewards, motivation suffers.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear that you find management accessible and enjoy working alongside the talented individuals across our team. We also hear your concerns regarding our compensation structure and quota adjustments. Our goal is always to balance company growth with fair, motivating, and rewarding compensation for our sales team. Your point about the importance of consistency and transparency in goal-setting is well-taken. Thank you again for helping us identify areas where we can improve.
