Pros

Angi is a great company to work for, but we have had so much organizational change over the last year and our specific leadership vertical is flawed. There is zero transparency in how we reach our quarterly number for commission pay out and the focus is more on how we conduct our business reviews with our partners as opposed to how we can better serve our pros

Cons

There is a lot of female energy in leadership and a sense of a mean girl attitude. Very clique and feels like they try and trap you in presentations and meetings as opposed to support and lead you. We are supposed to have an anonymous monthly survey that doesn't feel anonymous.

Hello and thank you for your thoughtful review. You've touched on a lot of important factors about working at Angi and we appreciate your honest feedback. Indeed, we've needed to realign various parts of the organization over this last year in order to continue driving toward our mission of making Angi the home for everything home. We know that organizational change is hard and we never make realignment decisions without careful thought and clear communication. If you don't have a clear understanding around the quarterly commission structure, please reach out to your manager or any member of Sales leadership. It's critical that the payout framework is well understood and we have alignment across the Sales org in terms of how each salesperson can be successful. We don't stand for any type of bullying or intimidation at Angi - if you feel like you're not being supported fully or that there's a lack of support for female employees, please discuss directly with our HR team (hr@angi.com). We value your opinion and want your voice to be heard. We appreciate the hard work of our Sales org and know that they work relentlessly each day to ensure we have a strong pool of service professionals who benefit from our service. Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope this response validates some of your concerns.

Pros

After almost five years with Angi, I can honestly say I'm grateful every day that I get to put on my Angi jersey and be part of this incredible company. Recruiting isn't just my job—it's something I'm truly passionate about, and I love helping talented people find opportunities where they can grow and succeed. What makes Angi special isn't just the work we do; it's the people. I've been fortunate to work under outstanding leadership and have the best manager I could ask for. Their support, encouragement, and investment in my growth have played a huge role in my career, and I'm thankful for it every day. One of my favorite traditions is that every work anniversary, I receive a handwritten note from our leadership along with a small gift. It's a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes about the culture here. Those personal touches make employees feel valued, appreciated, and recognized—not just for what they do, but for who they are. Angi has given me opportunities to grow professionally while surrounding me with leaders who genuinely care about their people. I'm proud to be part of this team and excited about the future we're building together. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact, continue growing, and be supported by exceptional leadership, I can't recommend Angi enough.

Cons

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback regarding our work-from-home flexibility, but we are concerned to hear your perspective on our lead quality, training expectations, and onboarding process.
