Pros

You work from home Monday-Friday and have bank holidays. Plenty of company incentives for high performance sales. Ability to accrue some serious vacation time. Positive Attitude at all times is essential for success. Sales stack in the pay period. 4-6 approved sales in a pay period will net you a solid commission check. The company is actively trying to improve their customer relations and training practices.

Cons

You must graduate the sales training program in the first 90 days or you will be terminated. Majority of calls will be cold calls. Hang-up or Signup mentality at all times. Several calls were linked to duplicate accounts that may be under another reps name. Make on average 200-300 calls a day. Sales must be approved to count for commission. Some accounts that you are required to pitch will pay you next to nothing and do not count towards the point based system for sales. For example if you make 5 pending sales in a pay period of two weeks and only one of them is approved for 1.6 points you are still required to achieve another 2.4 points in that two week period. Sales can be bounced back for a number of reasons. This can include bad license, out of date insurance, background check didn't pass, bad payment option, no funds on payment option, the business name doesn't match on the llc, or the onboarding rep doesn't call the service professional before they are charged for leads. The potential for outside factors to affect your income is high. Tenured reps receive the best leads exclusively though this is subject to change into the next year. You are expected to close each sale in about 20 minutes. My best advice, do not start during the fourth quarter of the year. Best time for new reps is after the new year and spring.

Pros

After almost five years with Angi, I can honestly say I'm grateful every day that I get to put on my Angi jersey and be part of this incredible company. Recruiting isn't just my job—it's something I'm truly passionate about, and I love helping talented people find opportunities where they can grow and succeed. What makes Angi special isn't just the work we do; it's the people. I've been fortunate to work under outstanding leadership and have the best manager I could ask for. Their support, encouragement, and investment in my growth have played a huge role in my career, and I'm thankful for it every day. One of my favorite traditions is that every work anniversary, I receive a handwritten note from our leadership along with a small gift. It's a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes about the culture here. Those personal touches make employees feel valued, appreciated, and recognized—not just for what they do, but for who they are. Angi has given me opportunities to grow professionally while surrounding me with leaders who genuinely care about their people. I'm proud to be part of this team and excited about the future we're building together. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact, continue growing, and be supported by exceptional leadership, I can't recommend Angi enough.

Cons

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.
