Pros
The health care is good compared to other employers.
Cons
This company hires engineers to fill manager roles in their local facilities. These are young adult , well under 30, who have very little experience in there fields but try to make decisions, often causing the production employees on the floor more work then necessary. The atmosphere is very tense and uncomfortable between management and the production employees and the two avoid each other whenever possible. Young managers often feel that they have to use their positions of power to show there subordinates who the boss is. They are too young and niave to understand that the respect that they covet so much is earned and they are not entitled to it, even if they are in charge. I could go on and on about the cons of this company i.e. lack of parts for fixing machinery, lack of training, unachievable bonus structure but I don't want you to think that I am just a disgruntled employee lashing out. Just know, I expected a certain level of professionalism when I started to work here, as a production employee, and I have been disappointed at virtually every turn. Best of luck with your decision.
