During my most recent performance review, I was told by my manager they believed I was deserving of a higher score, but their hand was forced and had to reduce it to be in-line with other team members. They implied that this was due to pressure from upper management. No matter what is discussed during a performance review, the only thing that matters in the grand scheme of things is the score, which was artificially reduced due to external factors unrelated to my skills, achievements, capabilities and years of successful work that showcase my worth. As a result of this interaction, I have no reason to believe there is opportunity for growth in Ansira at this time.
