This is a remote first company

Anyone who says they have worked here more than a year is lying. The company has only existed for 1 year. (used to be a part of CDK - go read THOSE reviews!) Pay practices are unequal and unfair. Arbitrary - based on whether or not the boss likes you not your actual skill level or performance. . NO room or plan for career growth. Management loves to pick scape goats. Blames the employees for problems that were inherited (from CDK) They are rude to the people who work for them. Salaries are low. There is NO respect for anyone starting from the top down. Coworkers pick up on this and treat each other badly as well.

While the Sincro brand is only about a year old, the company has a heritage stretching back more than 25 years. As a new organization, we are charting a fresh path and are setting priorities based on input from our team members. We appreciate, respect, and reward their performance, as well as provide them with opportunities to advance their careers. Our learning management system offers a variety of courses for team members to grow their skills and knowledge. We’re also working on programs to forge connections among employees so they can explore other positions at the company. Team members consistently praise our corporate culture; they feel empowered to speak up and effect change. They also prize the transparency of our leaders and say their managers genuinely care about their wellbeing. We have recently rolled out core values that encompass an inclusive environment, winning together, learning and celebrating success, and helping others. Everyone in the company is held accountable to these values as well as high performance standards.

Great benefits and unlimited/flexible PTO

Cons

Workload expectations were unsustainable. To meet the basic requirements of my role, I regularly worked 50–70 hours per week. While the company offered flexible PTO, there was little meaningful coverage when employees were out, often resulting in even more work upon return. Frequent layoffs and ongoing staff reductions meant existing clients were repeatedly reassigned from departing employees to the remaining team members, further increasing workloads and making it harder to provide the level of service clients deserved. As responsibilities grew, client escalations became increasingly common, and support from leadership during those situations was inconsistent. The moment that best captured the disconnect between leadership and employee reality was a company training on having a "growth mindset" that included the message, "It's not bandwidth. It's mindset." For employees already struggling with excessive workloads and burnout, this felt dismissive of legitimate capacity concerns. The culture ultimately led to significant burnout, high stress, and declining morale. The company has talented employees and clients, but leadership would benefit from addressing workload management, staffing levels, accountability, and employee well-being before focusing on mindset and productivity initiatives.
