On calll shifts, sometimes as many as 3-4. you can never make plans because you need to call in at 2 to see if your working. In the winter, you rarely get called in so it cuts into your salary. When they do need you, you only have an hours notice to arrive and start work. A lot of times management calls workers in in case it gets busy, but never soes and they end up sending you home without making any money. they dont even offer you food. no employee morale, no company group events. No incentives or rewards to strive to give great service. no health insurance for part time
