Toxic - Server Anthony's Restaurants Employee Review

This company is greedy and very old school mentality. All they care about is profit and Image. They sell you the dream to get you in and use your for the busy season, then treat you like they own you. No consistent hours and you’re constantly competing with other co-workers. Toxic is the nicest word I can pick for this place. Don’t know how I put up with it for so long. There is favoritism, sexism and simply put; gaslighting. If you wanna be mentally consumed by this job, go ahead. But if you want a life outside of work, just look for a better place where you’re appreciated as a human being. On call shifts suck, they expect you to always be available and answer their calls even if it’s outside of your schedule. And don’t get me started on guilt tripping, one example is employees get punished with 1 week time off work for mistakes. Just submit and shut up pretty much. It’s hard to be loyal to a company like that. Very high expectations but not much is given in return. No real positive feedback and appreciation. they’re nice to you based on performance and sales. Glad I’m done with that place. Good luck if you’re trying to get hired there.
