Pros

Great people, involved in the community

Cons

Managers are not trained. There used to be a short, overview training on feedback and communication but it was not available to every new manager. It could take years before a new manager is nominated for this extremely basic training. As a result managers are left to their own devices and the results are usually discrimination, poor talent selection and development. HR is one of the worst in the business. No assistance for managers except from online service center or off-site "consultants " who typically have no business experience and sometimes don't even know the policy. Aon now pays for this terrible service having sold Hewitt. Annual engagement surveys are distributed but employees don't believe they're anonymous. Management makes little to no effort to resolve the issues identified in the survey.

Pros

Clearly defined career ladder Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects.

Cons

Inconsistent team culture. Some teams feel clique-oriented, so it's difficult for new employees to integrate. Training can be limited, with a strong expectation to learn independently.
