      Pros

      A number of very good and dedicated people work at Aon. Additionally, because of the size and global nature there are a number of opportunities an individual can pursue.

      Cons

      If you are in a non-client facing area there is extreme pressure to cut costs. The pressure is so extreme that Aon has a tendency to lose many good managers and leaders to other companies.

      Clearly defined career ladder Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects.

      Cons

      Inconsistent team culture. Some teams feel clique-oriented, so it's difficult for new employees to integrate. Training can be limited, with a strong expectation to learn independently.
