Pros

No Fortune 500 company can be all good or all bad. There are some very dedicated employees who are generous to go out of their way to help new grads. That being said, they are the exception. If you work at Aon, I encourage networking across multiple departments to seek out managers that can help guide your career. The value working at Aon has nothing to do with insurance. You will gain more work experience and learn more about managing people in 1 year at Aon than most people learn in 5 years working anywhere else. Overall, Aon Reed Stenhouse underpays, offers zero professional development and is a very challenging work environment. To be fair, however, every department is completely different and 100% depends on your manager - so, ask to meet your manager before accepting a position!

Cons

Never work for the Aon Global Client Network. The team will demand that you compromise your professional integrity and worse than offering no career advancement - they will actively limit your opportunities to grow professionally. In the past 5 years there have been 6 people hired and have quit the Account Coordinator position in this department. They also underpay and legally broke my contract.
