Pros
Good work life balance... Time off, good parking spots, disc golf course, cafe and anything else that is not related to actual an actual job.
Cons
No future, and in full survival mode. Leadership failed to stay relevant in the market. During the good and profitable years, they did not do anything to stay ahead of the technology or do anything to create relevant differentiators, and now every school out there does it better and at less cost. With that being said, the organization has been forced to continue to right size. Layoffs have plagued them for 8 years. I worked there for 20 years and loved it for 12 years. Then federal regulation changed the landscape of the industry and I, like some many others, hoped that the company could find it way through the quagmire. It was hard to leave, but with no raise in 8 years, increased costs of benifits, and no opportunity for advancement, it was time to unchain the elephant.
