Pros

Lots of coaching, management that really cares if you and the company succeed. I have worked at a few companies at this point in my career in sales. I have been out of college for a few years now and really love where I am. The company has a common goal that everyone is working towards, management really goes out of its way to make sure that you do well. Usually a few times a month, they will examine your sales process from start to finish and identify where you can make changes to get better results. In my previous companies, you would go through training and then be shoved into the water to sink or swim, basically if you didn't get on your own after training, you didn't make it and felt expandable. Some people like that as they feel management oversight is annoying and micromanagement agitates them. I look forward to this as this company communicates in detail to all of its employees what we working for and towards regularly, you really feel like and forgive the analogy, but the 3 musketeers where its "all for one and one for all". Watching the company grow and evolve and being part of that process is exhilarating, and I want to be here when this thing Pops. From a cultural perspective, I am on the sales team, so competition exists and it can get oboxious at times but I think thats the nature of sales. As a whole, everyone believes in what we are doing and what our product can do in the market, so you get this drive to make sure everyone succeeds from top to bottom. I am having trouble describing this, but it is like everyone cares and no one just shuts it off or looks at working here like its a job.

Cons

It is an open floor plan, where everyone sits in one giant office with no walls and no cubicles. For me it can get noisy and distracting when I am on the phone giving a demo to a prospect. Some people like it because you do get lots of energy from colleagues, and you get to sit out in the open with the CEO, but I would prefer more privacy to concentrate. There a re pros and cons to this, but I think its more of a con for me.
