As for skills transfer, if you learn Low Code development at Appian you are getting into a growing market and you will find your skills in demand and transferable. Of course you could learn Java or some other commodity skill but you'll do much worse in the labor market. As for work/life balance, many Appian consulting leaders have started or raised families here while advancing their careers. You can do the same.
