Fun environment, but heavy workload - Anonymous employee Appian Employee Review

- Siloed departments (getting better) - Fast growing company with 15 years of legacy holding them back. Most decision makers and senior leadership have been at Appian since they were fresh out of school 10+ years ago, could use leadership with outside experiences. - Compensation is alright, could be better. My main gripes are expensive health care plans and really low PTO, 15 days (including sick days). Many competitors offer 20-25 days without including sick days, that is a significant quality of life difference.
