Pros
There are a multitude of opportunities to learn different things, engage in different functions, etc. The pay is competitive and can be better.
Cons
There is red tape in all organizations and this one is not excluded. Often times managers are forced to be working managers and instead of focusing on the people, they are buried with a heavy workload. Managers are not held accountable for upholding core values or company culture. The executive leadership team places too much trust in the managers who are not trained well.
