Pros
Superb environment with some of the smartest people in the industry who don't mind sharing cross-functional/technical knowledge. A supportive management who comes handy in fulfilling personal needs. Allows work-life balance and flexibility. Great educational experience every year with mandatory 40 hours of personally tailored courses. Always edging ahead of competitors in bringing cutting-edge technology in semicon, display and aftermarket service fields. Being here feels like a much-needed educational experience every year that they don't teach you in colleges. It has a visionary CEO and few talented technologists who I believe can come with with game-changing technologies. Overall, it is a stable and a great company to work with.
Cons
Though $$ is not everything, but Applied should focus on compensating seasonal folks well. The 'good' talent-pool always get overbid by competitors or other high-tech companies.
