Pros

It will be an ok place for building experience.

Cons

Everything is bad. benefits are not even close to other same size of this company. I don't know about other building or manufacturing side, but in RD side of engineering is really toxic. all the Chinese and Vietnamese are mean and rule. they yell at me by F word. without scaring that got in trouble because they know no one can replace them in their positions. If you want looking for a kindly talk or speak, this is not the place. HR is their side, so not even bother to talk to them. You are hourly, but they will expect you work 24hours with an 8hours paid. Feel like not an America company, more like an Asian's type of company. REALLY TOXIC PLACE. so careful, try to calm down around the worst people of the world in here. you will make it.

Pros

This is a company with a great future and overall many smart and talented work colleagues.

Cons

There are pockets of poorly managed teams and the Global Sourcing and Procurement Team is one of them. Working for GSP was a soul crushing experience. On a regular basis, I witnessed and experienced mobbing, gaslighting, bullying, senior leaders retaliating and weaponizing the 360 feedback program for their own personal gain, senior leaders taking credit for other peoples work, long tenured leaders abusing their relationships within HR, regular staff crying and people admitting to seeking professional help due to the toxic work environment…ptsd in GSP is real. And to top it off, Applied’s most senior leadership have known of these issues for years.
