Pros
Any job OTHER THAN utility is super easy and you sit for most of the day. And smoke breaks(outside time) whenever you have time/want. 3days on 3 off if you work in Vienna building
Cons
I work in the “better” 12hr building where it’s temperature controlled in Vienna. In the Warren building (8hr work days) there’s no temperature control and it gets HOT over there. Pay raises suck (if they remember to give it) with current union contract. Union doesn’t support good hard workers, only the lazy. Because of seniority, when you first start you’ll get thrown to each crew like a rag doll constantly. Higher up people don’t seem to care about workers (pay or otherwise) and basically pays us pennies compared to what they get. No one ever stays anymore so they over work everyone else until they snap and quit. You have to wait total 5years to get FULL benefits. No profit sharing. And total 40hrs for call off/vacation when you first start after 90 day probation per year (not including perfect attendance earnings and holiday hours (if you don’t want the extra $ you get extra 8hrs)). The place is a joke. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
