Pros

Time off, commission based (no cap), work with the people you want, fast paced environment, best sales force in the industry. Aptive Environmental is by far in my 12 years of sales experience, the best place to work. If you are looking for steady guaranteed pay, this is not the job for you. This is a position that you get exactly what you put in. I watched people make 6 figures (including myself) in less than 4 months and I watched people make close to nothing. The choice is completely yours. Aptive gives you all the tools, training, culture, and environment to be successful. You HAVE to be self motivated and want to truly get paid your worth. The work life balance is probably the best thing about Aptive. We work extremely hard for 4-5 months every year (some people do 2-3 months and some do ). For a lot of us this is where we make our YEARLY income. I generated over 130k my very first summer and essentially had 7 months off!!

Cons

hard work and long hours during the summer

Pros

Stepped Training & Weekly Classes: Management is great about not overwhelming you. We learn new technology one step at a time, and we have weekly team classes to make sure everyone has the information "down pat" before moving on. Veteran Mentorship: This company truly values experience. They lean on veteran technicians to walk new employees through every step of the process so they aren't left alone on a route until they are 100% comfortable. Customer Loyalty: Our "Reduced Risk" approach (using botanical-based pyrethrins and EPA-approved treatments) is high-quality. I’ve seen that even when customers leave for other options, they almost always come running back once they realize the value of our service. Collaborative Bonus Culture: We have monthly bonuses, and we actually help each other hit them. In our meetings, if one tech finds a better way to hit a goal, they share it so the whole "family" can maximize their earnings. Strong Communication: You are never on an island. There is constant contact and support between co-workers, supervisors, and manageme

Cons

Adapting to Change: The industry moves fast and the technology is always evolving. It takes a professional mindset to stay on top of the weekly classes and new mobile systems. Physical Energy: This is a high-energy field role. It requires daily stamina and a strong work ethic to manage the routes effectively and keep up with the pace.
