Pros

Offers remote work, many lines of business to apply to

Cons

The culture is very much based on title. If you don’t have “manager” or “director” in your title, you’re not shown much respect. I’ve never worked with such rude people, who only seem to be able to demand things instead of asking or even addressing me with, “hello,” or “ good morning.” A lot of the employees also seem to be incapable of learning how to do things themselves, even after being shown repeatedly. If there’s someone else who can do it, why would they bother? I couldn’t tell if they were really that unintelligent, or were just lazy. If it’s the former…you let these people be in control of your finances and revenue? Yikes. I did many things that were not part of my job description, and I was sold a different role than what I actually ended up doing. There’s no mentorship or active career development programs, people only seem to get promoted or get raises if they threaten to quit or are best friends with their manager. I wasted years of my career not learning anything useful or transferable to another job. Manager was a pushover, any complaints from staff weren’t handled or were given to someone else to deal with. I don’t think they like people who stand up for themselves or have a sense of morality and justice.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
