Pros

flexibility; name recognition, good benefits; sales incentives. Fair but not great overall compensation compared to industry averages.

Cons

Removed skill set and savvy from selling process. It is all about sales activity and what you can input into salesforce. Sales people are in sales because they do what they do best, sell product. Not being data entry personnel. 40-50% of the job is on a laptop now. That won't help you bring in sales. The company is so caught up in the investment it has made in salesforce.com that is has lost focus of the overall big picture. Good people bring in good business. Not salesforce robots.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
