Pros

Best paying job I could find in this field. You learn management skills that look great on a resume. Yearly raises Pto, vaca, floating Holliday, health insurance. Some management willing to work with your schedule (school, personal life, etc.) A lot of great people. Set schedule Overtime is always available

Cons

Short staffed Higher ups who do little to nothing and take all the credit Very busy all the time Mentally, physically, emotionally draining Unequal work distribution Seniority with scheduling

Pros

I worked for Aramark as a bartender at two different arenas in 2 different states and I absolutely loved it. Probably just lucky to have a good management in both places . Great money, fun job, amazing co-workers.

Cons

I don’t see the place for growth but it’s not something I am seeking, because it’s just a side gig of mine

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
