Pros

Wages are good and workload is not overwhelming. The structure seems to be there. Perfect place if you plan on saving and are comfortable living away from a city. Good to gain experience and put on your resume

Cons

Even though the structure is there, it's not organized at all. If you have an issue, good luck to you since you will be passed from one person to the next and hardly receive help if any. Payroll is terrible. My pay was almost always wrong and after not working there for about 3 months I'm still owed money. You are lucky if you get a good manager at your camp. Most, if not all camps are dry, but based on my experience, managers drink and consume drugs on site. Harassment seemed to be unimportant. Filed a complaint for discrimination and never ever received any information about it even though I followed up with managers and human resources. It like talking to a wall. In all the time I worked there never received my benefits and every other coworker had many issues with this matter as well.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
