Pros

If you want to be a door mat or brown noser - go for it. There is nothing- yes nothing Pros about Aramark. I worked for the best companies around the world , so I can compare & not waste my & your time here.

Cons

Benefits for the sake of it- you pay more premium even to get a massage after hard weeks work. It's not included in basic so pay for it.I have given my feedback but it all about the bonus the GM & party wants to make. If you work 44 hrs , 40 hrs or 4 hours they deduct $3.5 from your wage. No manager wants to do dirty dishes even if they pretend to help. Last but not the least the GM & party wants to cut hours for no appropriate reasons, stress other employee & achieve BONUS for themselves. I think it is as good as stealing. No discussion with front line staff & it effects guests as the menu items are overpriced & its all about making the bottom line profit. I work for the UOfC & they don't know the business. But definitely know how to run someone to the ground. Use & throw

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
