Pros

Aramark is a great place to work if you are a student or part-time employee because the hours are very flexible. The compensation is fair for the work required and the lower-level management tends to be very approachable and considerate when an employee desires to move up within the location.

Cons

It is very hard to get a raise once you hit a certain hourly wage and pay-rates are not equal for similar titles/job requirements across stores. For instance, a cashier at one location may be at $7.75, while a cashier at another is at $9.00, having the same level of experience.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
