- Zero work life balance. Management expects the job to be your life. "this isn't a 9-5 job" is a mantra often repeated. Evenings, weekends, holidays, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how hard you work because management is so bad that you will miss deadlines no matter what.
-Actively hostile HR. This isn't one of those companies where HR even pretends to be on your side. HR and management issues threats to employees on a regular basis.
-Clueless management. I've never seen a more hands on CEO. This is not a good thing. You constantly hear about how passionate she is, but she can't seem to understand why the employees she treats so poorly don't share that passion. She injects herself into processes where it makes no sense and actually interferes with the ability to complete deliverables on time. Because of this good people don't stick around. You are left with inept yes men/women who don't understand the projects they are managing and junior level people in over their heads (with a few exceptions of course). Turnover is very high. Processes change week to week. Consistency is non-existent. Projects are understaffed, and workloads are unmanageable.
