The initial start date of contract was November 22, 2021. My PIV card was lost in the mail and I was unable to work until January 8, 2022. Not a single employee at Ardelle involved with the contract helped me with resolving this issue; Only to find out I didn't necessarily need my PIV card to access my work laptop. This job has actual sent me into debt. This may be a very specific scenario but I would not advise anybody to work for this agency. I spoke with our project manager maybe one time from Nov. 21, 2021 through March 31, 2023. You will be overworked and underpaid and stressed. Nobody cares enough at Ardelle to make the working experience one that is enjoyable for its contractors

Pros

Only plus side is this can be a moldy stepping stone to get hired as a FTE with the government

Pretty much everything about this contracting agency is bad. They're health insurance is a scam costing you around $400 a paycheck depending on your plan choice. That's about $10.5K a year that goes to health insurance that's not even that good coverage. Are you not allowed to even check your sick time balance online and have to email someone every time you'd like to check it. The only reason a company would do this is to disincentivize you into using the sick time you are entitled to. Their internal employees you have to email to do anything are incompetent and unresponsive. at one point the only HR contact was away for 2 weeks, with no one else to cover for them. not allowing a coworker to use their sick time and losing out on money that they should have gotten
