Pros

The CEO (Brandon) has the right vision for the future of his company. They also have the best BD team that I ever worked with. They (Michael M. and Matt K.) are super nice people to work with, combining tempo/expertise and winning strategies to win more contracts. Their team of professionals are experienced and highly technical.

Cons

Hiring mangers are mostly new to fast growing environment and hiring. Company has right startup mentality but do not have the right strategy to implement its culture. Often, senior management tries to increase productivity but does not have a clue to engage employees into the process. Their HR leadership is a mediocre. HR leaders are supposed to be the people with solid employee relations skills, to whom managers and employees come for good support and advice. Not here.

Pros

"Unlimited" paid leave flexible work hours

Cons

The contract we were on was set to go up for rebid. For the recompete, they knew 4 months in advance that 3+ people on the current contract would have to be dropped (fired). Instead of telling these people, they kept them in discussions as if their work would also continue. They lost their jobs with zero notice when a 4 months heads-up was possible. These people had families to take care of, kids graduating from kindergarten. During the lapse in contract funding, we were promised over and over that we would get pay for at least 2 weeks of the lapse period. The Friday before the lapse in contract, we were called individually to be told they would not be paying us in contradiction to what was promised for weeks. During the lapse in contract and recompete when we were all afraid of losing our jobs, they invited us all to a vague meeting, we naturally assumed it was about the contract we were on. During the meeting they showed an excel sheet of all the millions of dollars in contracts ArdentMC was getting and told us how great the company was doing. There was no mention of our recompete status just boasting, I would like to say it was tone deaf but that would not do justice in terms of how out of touch it was. They then lost the recompete.
