      Pros

      Global Launch is the division that teaches ESL to incoming international students. Great colleagues, stimulating academic environment

      Cons

      Global Launch functions separately from ASU as a whole. They hired around 20 new employees last summer (2015) and laid them off 8 months later. Really poor planning - no oversight of new programs, no clear set of expectations of employees. Very disappointing experience.

      Highly interactive job where you meet lots of different students and form connections

      Cons

      I don't like the administration changes that they have implemented in 2026. It more dictatorial now and tutor who are the face of their organization are not given much voice.
